With Spring Break ever getting closer, it’s time to look at the location of choice for your Spring Break Hotel accommodations and there is no better choice than the Desert Inn Resort. The deck is ever so famous for its music, but also for the contests it hosts from Bikini Contests to Biggest Flop into the pool all hosted by DJ’s and owners of local bars and clubs. Prizes are often given away and it’s a blast from start to finish. Even if you’re tried from the night before, you can overlook where all the action is by the private balcony you have to your room and the ocean.

The other reason you should stay at the Desert Inn Resort is simply because it is a Spring Break Hotel. During the entire month of March and the beginning of April, the hotel plays host to students from every state and even from visiting countries. The hotel provides great deals and even the possibility to fundraise as you make your Spring Break plans. If you worried about food, it never becomes an issue with the Riverfront Bar & Grill located at the hotel. With additional amenities such as a Weight Room, Sauna, and Gift Shop, you have all your needs nearby all the time.

The last post I left some ideas on where to go and even the best deals for Spring Break @ the Desert Inn Resort. I went last year and if your lucky, you maybe able to spot me in the video!

Like I mentioned before, the Ocean Deck has great food and music and one of the best parties on the beach. I plan on going there again and bringing the Spring Break Party over to them!

Spring Break News

Spring Break is always about booze, bodies, and good music but maybe this year with the economy being how it is; it might make it hard for you to plan out your Spring Break adventures around the States. If your like me and your interested on saving some cash, I guess this little insert I found in the newspaper might be your solution to saving money this Spring Break and getting something back in return:

Now you can try to find Spring Break News like that somewhere else for the best weeks of March in Daytona but I don’t know anyone offering $1,000 internet shopping sprees or gas rebates. Daytona Beach Nightlife: Part II

Now I have received a lot of feedback about my last post via Myspace @ SBM Myspace, Facebook @ Facebook SBM, and my page @ SpringBreakMax.com about more info on what to do and where to go for the best time in Daytona! Well ladies and gentleman, since it is the holidays and I feel in a very giving mood, your present from me to you is a few more of my Spring Break Hot Spots that you can enjoy on your trip to Daytona Beach.

Arena Sports Bar and Cafe and the Colosseum

The Arena Sports Bar just recently opened this year after making serious renovations to the entire establishment. As you make your way into this place you can immediately take solace in the fact there is no cover charge at the door. Also, you’ll notice a small enclosed bar area for those who enjoy smoking or just want a bit of more privacy. If you can’t stand the smell of smoke, you’ll enjoy the fact that the bar’s lavish open area is smoke free and always full of people. The Arena is every sports fans dream with 16 different booths on either side of the location with each booth carrying it’s own HDTV. The bar is extravagant and fills almost the entire area giving you plenty of room to enjoy yourself and the others around you without feeling crowded. If your interested in some food, they have great specials starting at five dollars and getting drinks at this place will be cheap.

If you get tired and want to cut loose, no need to go anywhere else but the Colosseum which is Arena’s Nightclub. Again, no cover charge and the best part of the walk is that you don’t have to wait in line for the club; you can cut through a cleverly made entrance which allows you entry from the bar to the club in no time. Enjoy the decadence and atmosphere of a Roman styled environment and expect loud music from the DJ, aerialists, and a great party dance floor for you and your newly acquainted friends. If your interested in a little via treatment, make your way up to the second floor and enjoy the view of the action. All in all the Arena is a great place to have fun out in Daytona if you want to get-a-way from the fun on the beach!

Frank’s Front Row

Frank’s Front Row located on Seabreeze heading towards the bridge is the best rock/metal bars you’ll find in Daytona. The bar’s atmosphere is pure rock with blue neon lights surrounding it’s main feature and designed with a dark feel. Free pool is available 24/7 and each day features a different band ranging from alternative, punk, surf, and even all the way to screaming death metal. You’ll here all your favorites and many more at this place performed live. You’ll always find everyone mass around the band and there are always tons of people to meet and greet. Bartenders are available from every end of the bar so no need to fight or move around for drinks; they will come to you. All in all, Franks is a great place to enjoy yourself!

Gilly’s Pub 44

Gilly’s Pub 44 Riverfront is located at the far end of main street overlooking the beautiful view of the Halifax River. There is no better location to catch a sunset from this place. This is usual one of my favorite starting locations. If you come during Happy Hour, enjoy the great drink specials and the free hors d’oeuvres during the week. You can sit indoors at the bar or make your way outside to their two patios areas overlooking the street or overlooking the river. At 10PM, the place becomes Club 44 with tons of music and shot girls ready to serve you and your buddies. The bartenders will surely leave you satisfied with their attentiveness and their beautiful sex appeal.

Mai Tai Bar

Mai Tai Bar and Grill is a bar right in the heart of the Ocean Walk located next to Bubba Gump’s. The place is full of tiki torches to light you on your way to the bar as well to keep you warm outside. The bar indoors is probably the only establishment in Daytona to feature an entire male bartending staff but they did make it where all the servers are all female and they will help you whatever you need. Drinks and pithers of beer are always cheap or at really afforable prices. The indoor area is full of comfy sofas so you can snuggle with the person you really want to get to know or just to sit comfortably. The center of the indoor area is left for anyone to mingle while bands play at night to many of your favorite 80′s and 90′s hits. The place has a wonderful selection of food in case you get a craving for something during the day or in the late hour. You will always find this place to be rather packed because of how well established it is in the area as a local hangout spot. If your in the mood for some fun beachside, Mai Tais is one way to go!

The Ocean Deck

If your looking to keep the party on the beach, make sure to check out The Ocean Deck. The O-Deck has it’s home right near the Daytona Boardwalk and Main Street on A1A. This bar is one of the most unique on the beach to feature a patio right out on the beach giving you time to enjoy the scenery of the clouds and/or stars in the sky as well as the relaxing waves crashing onto the sand. The deck is always a crowded place down below with live music and even karaoke at times. Appetizers and meals are always great ranging from typical eats like New England clam chowder in a bread bowl, cheese steaks, and others to a different variety like entirely fried sandwiches served with jelly and even gator bites which surprisingly tastes just like chicken. If your not interested in the party environment and want a little peace and quiet, the second floor is open and available to you with the same full bar and amenities.

During Spring Break though, the party is going to loud and in full effect. The area in front of the party becomes a full out beach party on the sand with DJ’s playing, lawn chairs to relax in, and tons of people all gathering in one area. The Ocean Deck is surely a spot not to miss out on during Spring Break!

Red Tails Bar and Grill

Red Tails located on Beach Street was actually founded by a local college student of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Originally the Crazy Coyote, the place has adopted it’s own niche in Daytona Beach as the local hangout for most college students providing discounts for those with student ID’s. The bar is always full of people, loud music, and friendly bartenders ready to make anything you desire. The second floor is also a full bar with pool tables and a balcony that overviews the entire downstairs. You can sit indoors but most people enjoy the outside setting patios alongside the bar. You also won’t have to worry about ending up in a place crowded with old farts or creeps at Red Tails, you’ll just find the finest people around to meet. During Spring Break, you can find live bands playing to keep you and your friends entertained the entire night. Red Tails does a great ladies night so if your interested, try to big a girl along! Lots of free drinks and fun all in one place; Red Tails Bar and Grill is surely a bar of choice! Don’t forget about the great food at cheap prices too!

Robbie O’ Connell’s Pub

Robbies is a one of a kind Irish Pub serving the best brews the country has to offer. The bar is located on Seabreeze Blvd and is just next door to Molly Browns and across the street from the Oyster Pub. This place is ideal if you want to grab a couple of beers and enjoy them with your friends! Sit around the bar, order your pints and liter mugs, sing some drinking songs, and just kick back at this place. There are always plenty of seats available indoors and out especially by their patio booths. Robbies is one of the few locations in Daytona where visitors can join in on local dart competitions. Just make sure you get the darts on the board and not on the wall! Daily specials are always available and bartenders will always treat you right and remember your name if you visit often. If your down during the week of St. Patrick’s Day, there is not better place to enjoy the festivities but here so make sure to stop by Robbies!

Oyster Pub

If your interested in bars, then there is no better place to stop than the . Available immediately on the corner of Seabreeze and Grandview Ave, this bar and restaurant serves great meals as well as great prices on their seafood. How could you not go to a place named the Oyster Pub and not try their oysters? The service is great and you’ll have a good time. Even better, they have free pool from 9:00 – 9:30 every Wednesday night and a free entry 8-ball pool tournament where the lucky winner walks off with $50 cash!

Now if your into something more on the wild side, then look no further from Seabreeze because there are two of the wildest places available to you. Molly Brown’s is nationally known for being a hot spot for attractive young ladies who are interested in putting on a show for you. There may even be a girl to greet you at the door! =)

Not too far away from all the action is Lollipop’s, a gentleman’s club surely to live up to your every expectation. Lollipop’s ladies are just as sweet as the candy but always love to provide their guests with fun and excitement.

In order to have an extremely successful Spring Break experience, the most important thing to have when traveling is a hotel to crash the night. That is why I still highly recommend you go check out the Desert Inn Resort. They have many accomidations and different room types to fit your ever need and your stay at Daytona Beach.

They are located just three blocks from all the bars and night clubs and six blocks away from the Ocean Walk and all the fun you can have on the beach while giving you enough of a get-a-way to relax when you need to recover from that terrbile hangover the next morning!
